5 days in Hong Kong Itinerary plan 1 How to?

There are many places to visit in Hong Kong and can make many plan to visit. This is plan that I visit this time.

Day 1 Tai Yuen Street, Wan Chai Computer Center, Times Square, Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade,Temple Street

Tai Yuen Street is street that have toy and many kids products that remind on childhood memories. Toy from this street some of them made from Hong Kong and good for souvenir. But most of toys are made from China. This is also a great place to pick up the classic toy and decorations. You can get to this street on MTR Subway and stop at Wan Chai Station then Exit on A3 after that walk to the street about two minutes to reach there.

Wan Chai Computer Center is one of the most popular electronics centers in Hong Kong. You can find SD card, USB key, empty DVDs to desktop, laptop, digital cameras, MP3 players and gadgets.

Times Square is large shopping mall in Causeway Bay with luxury fashion products inside. This mall also have accessories, electronics, toys, two department stores, supermarket and over 20 restaurants.

Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade that have light show from opposite island. They set light show on 20.00 everyday. You will see the light from Hong Kong Island on high building of famous company.

Temple Street is night market locate near Yau Ma Tei station. This is a popular street bazaar with atmosphere of a memorable on people. At temple street will see trinkets, tea ware, electronics, watches, menswear, jade and antiques. Also they have while clay pot rice, seafood, noodles and other treats as same as high restaurants but cheaper and consumed with get gusto on foods.

Day 2 Tsz Shan Monastery, Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery, IKEA, New Town Plaza

For visit the Tsz Shan Monastery, you have to make the reservation first because the temple accept people to visit only 500 person per day.

Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery Temple is located in Sha Tin on the North of Tsim Sha Tsui. This temple have more than 13,000 Buddha images that reflects faith well.

IKEA Hong Kong is near New Town Plaza and on the way to visit Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery Temple. After you visit the temple. You can stop by at IKEA then look for furniture design and decoration.

New Town Plaza is shopping mall in Sha Tin and have luxury fashion products, sneaker shop, supermarket, and restaurants inside. If you walk around the mall must remember the way you walk because you may get lost. This place also connect with hotel as well. To get on shopping mall and Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery. You can take MTR Subway to the blue line and stop at Sha Tin station.

Day 3 Wong Tai Sin temple, Chi Lin Nunnery, Nan Lian Garden, Plaza Hollywood, Fa Yuen Street (Mong Kok)

Wong Tai Sin temple is shrine and famous tourist attraction in Hong Kong. This temple have three religions (Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism) setting. The buildings make as a scenic on an important religious center. People from Hong Kong come and pray for their believe.

Chi Lin Nunnery was established since 1934 and renovated in Tang dynasty style from AD 618-907. The Chi Lin Nunnery temple is a large temple of elegant on wooden architecture, treasured Buddhist relics and lotus ponds. The complex also includes of some contain gold, clay and wooden statues such as the Sakyamuni Buddha and Bodhisattva.

Nan Lian Garden locate near Diamond Hill station. The Garden is a public park and built in the style of Tang dynasty. The landscaped have area over 3.5 hectares. There are permanent exhibitions center that decorate on Chinese architecture, rocks and potted plants. When you feel hungry then you might want to try the vegetarian restaurant or tea house.

Plaza Hollywood locate on Diamond Hill station. The shopping mall is not large but they have many sport store, supermarket, clothes store and restaurant. They are over 40 shops in the mall.

Fa Yuen Street (Mong Kok) where sports shoe and sportswear shops around. This street will see many shoes shop around with cheap price. This Fa Yuen Street is where to see image conscious of youth. They buy shoes that come from the latest designs, limited-edition or new releases from all over the world.

Day 4 Ngong Ping 360 cable car, City Gate Outlet

Ngong Ping 360 have distance of 5.7 kilometers from Tung Chung Station and takes across the bay to the hill. During that time you can see the beautiful view of Hong Kong from cable car. They have standard cabin car, crystal cabin car, and private cabin car.N

Po Lin Monastery located in Lantau island was built in 1906 by three monks been travel from Jiangsu. In this temple have thousand Buddhas decorate inside the temple and have vegetarian kitchen to be serve during you visit. They open from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Ngong Ping Big Buddha  is large Buddha statue that located on the highest point of the peak with a height of 34 meters. It is a very high and elegant monk in Hong Kong. People come and visit because they believed that there was sacredness of blessings to fulfilled everything. At the bottom of the Big Buddha. There are 3 story of pagoda within enshrined of the Buddha’s relics. The outside of surrounding area is stairway from the bottom to the the top about 268 floors high. Upon reaching on the stairs that you can see the Big Buddha and the beautiful views of Lantau island and the South China Sea.

City Gate Outlet is Hong Kong’s largest outlet mall close to Hong Kong airport and next to Tung Chung Station. This is the first outlet mall in Hong Kong and popular for tourist come for shopping with discount products. There are over 80 brand name stores from luxury fashion brand to general brand with many sneaker shop.

Day 5 Tsim Sha Tsui, Jordan Street, Nathan Road
