How to get there?
- You can take bus no.#15C from Central Pier 8 or walk from MTR Central Station on Exit J1, J2 to take the Peak Tram from the Peak Tram Lower Terminus on Garden Road
- From Central Station take Exit F or Star Ferry Pier 7 take the bus No. 15 C then get off at Peak Tram or take the line 15 to get to the Peak.
- Take bus no.#15 from Exchange Square bus terminus which is near MTR Hong Kong Station and Exit door D
- Take minibus no.#1 from the public transport interchange at MTR Hong Kong Station and Exit door E
- Ride the boat from Kowloon Island near the harbor city shopping mall to Central side after that walk to the Peak. But this will take you about 20-30 mins to get there. This is long distance to reach but good for exercise.
Peak Tram is a tram used to travel up and down hill. The Peak has been in service for more than 120 years. Most tourists often choose to go and see the top of view. The tram seat up to the top of hill and can observe the view outside. There will be an event called “The Peak Tram illusion”. When we ride the car up to the hill will see tall buildings from far away. If you notice that view on the right hand side feel like the building is falling to the front of the phenomenon and unlike other trams.
The Peak Tower is one of Hong Kong’s famous architectural buildings that has modern style building. They’re design with unique and unique shape. The Peak Tram Historical Gallery is like a small museum that located on the top of The Peak. Inside the gallery have story of tram and divided into 15 zones. A collection of history is about 100 years ago including the history of the peak, various forms of trams in each era. Also they have rooms that show style of dress on passengers and tram staff. If anyone uses tram service the this gallery can visit for free. The gallery open every day from 7.00 am to 12.00 pm.
