Bua Tong Waterfall and Nam Phu Chet Si, Chiang Mai, Thailand

Bua Tong Waterfall and Nam Phu Chet Si is located at KM 42 of Chiang Mai – Phrao Road in Amphoe Mae Taeng, only an-hour drive from Chiang Mai city, Bua Tong waterfall is part of Mae Taeng National Forest Reserves. This stunning limestone waterfall is famous for its unusual face and convenient step to climb on. As for Namphu Chetsi which literally means 7 colors fountain is a mineral geyser containing calcium-carbonate, gushing from the ground and then over flowing streams and small waterfall. Its streamed is solid white, glittering crusted with calcium carbonate. Sunshine reflected from the clear flowing and falling water, as well as the white streamed, makes for quite impressive natural scenery.
