Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar) is Indonesia’s second-busiest international airport. This airport is named (I Gusti Ngurah Rai) for the honor of Lieutenant Colonel Ikuzurahrai who is the commander of Indonesian forces and heroes in the Battle of Marga when surrounded by the Dutch forces during the Indonesian Revolution for Freedom. This airport is located approximately 13 kilometers south of Denparsar city.
The airport has been greatly developed in terms of facilities and infrastructure. The aimed at the airport is to increase on comfortable and safety for visitors at the terminal.
At present, the airport can accommodate up to 25 million passengers. But not only provide aviation services. There are two terminals: one is domestic terminal and anther one is international terminal.
