Khao Phra Tomnak Hill in Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri, Thailand

Khao Phra Tomnak or Khao Phrabat is a small hill between Southern Pattaya beach and Jomtien beach. From Northern and Central Pattaya that you can drive along Sukhumvit road, turn right at the sign directing to Southern Pattaya, turn left at the first traffic light, drive straight until you reach the 5-intersection, turn left to Phra Tomnak road and turn right to reach Khao Phra Tomnuk. The route on the hill is one way. There is a parking space. At Phra Tomnak foothill, there is a park for exercising and also the offices of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Pattaya office and mariners communication division radio receiving station 5.

When you walk inside, there is a large balcony which is the spot where you can observe the most beautiful scenery of Pattaya. It opens daily from 7.00 am – 22.00 pm. From this spot, you can see the scenery along the curve of Pattaya city during the daytime or observe the fascinating Pattaya city which is decorated by city lights, as the sleepless city, in the evening or at night.

Apart from this, on the top of Khao Phrabat, it is where Phra Chao Boromwongther Krom Luang Chumporn Khet Udomsuk statue is placed. The officer will light the firecrackers occasionally. Lighting the firecrackers yourself and firing gun are not permitted. Another feature of this hill are binoculars which allow you to see the Pattaya spectacular scenery better. On the top of the hill, there are binoculars provided for tourists to see the scenery which cost only 10 baht.

More from the view, you can visit the temple and make merit at Wat Phrabat which locates at the other side of Khao Pra Tomnak. There is 1 parking lot which can hold 20-30 cars.
