Quyuan Temple, China

From a time perspective, the earliest Qu Yuan memorial building mentioned in the existing literature is the “Zhao Quting” in Changde, Hunan. Ming Dongsi published the “Guang Bo Shi Zhi” records, Chu Ba Wang Xiang Yu once before the “Zhao Quting” 弑 Chu Yidi: “Xiang Yu sent Ying Bu Yi Yidi, Wuling people crying under the Zhao Quting. Gao Zuwen and Yi The No.1 county is Yiling.” Here, the Wuling people in the Chuxi area cried under the “Zhao Quting” and cried the last “king” of the Chu State. It can be seen that the architectural history can be traced back to the Han Gaozu, that is, Late Qin.

The earliest “Quyuan Temple” with clear written records is located in the two counties of Miluo and Lushan. The Northern Wei dynasty Yuan “Shui Jing Zhu” volume thirty-eight: “Shui Shui and the West is Qutan, that is, Luo Luoyuan also. Qu Yuan Huaisha self-sinking here, so Yuantan is named after Qu. Over 2,000 years and more than half of China, the time and space distribution of Quyuan Temple reflects the broad admiration and recognition of Qu Yuan spirit. The remains of these temples have been used by the descendants to cherish the spiritual sanctuary of Qu Yuan. The literati and the literati rushed to write poems, cherish the Qu Yuan and pass on the spirit of Qu Yuan.

The temple ode to Qu Yuan’s “loyalty” and “clear” spirit. The temples made during the construction and restoration of each temple explain the understanding of Qu Yuan spirits by people of different ages and regions.

The earliest extant temples in the Jurassic are Tang Jiang’s “Zhen Luo Temple”: Zan Quzi Dazhong. This article advocates the monarch and the rationale as the main line, praises the three generations and the Tang Dynasty’s loyalty to the Tang Dynasty, and regrets that Fan Li, Lu Lian and Qu Yuan and others do not meet Ming Jun. Qu Yuan is known as the “Greater Loyalty”: “Three singers, with Dazhong, revealing Dawen, Shen Yu Chuze, mourning and self-praising, stagnation and decline, and the Six Classics.” The meaning is that Qu Yuan holds the righteousness of the heavens and the earth. Zhongjun is worried about the country and has no sinful power. His poetry repeatedly emphasizes self-love and satirizes the king. It is the same as the Confucian classic “Six Classics” and is a model of the sage.

The earliest existing temple records of Zhaigui, Tang Wang Maoyuan, “The Three Secrets of Mr. Qu, the Emperor of Chu, the Emperor of Chu, and the Preface”: “Mr. Yi Te Baifu, Wen Xiong, the loyalty can be violent, and its Qing can be greedy.” The temple highlights Qu Yuanzhong’s sorrows and the lucidity of the world are considered to be the best incentives and lashes for the secular and official society. This is the main intention of Wang Maoyuan Jianyu. He said in the inscription: “The loyalty to the loyalty, containing Chen Qingxi. The sorrowful affair, not the foolishness.” The establishment of the three doctors is to let the later people confront the country. Loyalty is like Qu Yuan, and you can clean yourself. As for the superstition of praying for the protection of the gods, it is not the purpose of construction.

Since then, the temples of the past dynasties have almost unanimously highlighted the spirit of Qu Yuan’s “loyalty” and “clearness.” For example, Hou Liang Xiao Zhen’s “Chu Sanshao Dafu Zhaoling Hou Temple” praised the original “Huaizhong Lujie, worrying about the country”; Yuan Liu Xingrong “Reconstruction of Zhongjie (should be “section”) Qing Lie Gong Temple” “The loyalty of the doctor” Xin Zhu Jinshi; Ming Dai Jiayu “repairing the temple of the Jurassic” praised the high wind of “Zhong Jie Qing Lie”; Qing Wang Jingyang “repairing the Qu Gong dynasty” praised the original “the loyalty of the qi, the day in the heart, calendar For thousands of years, it’s not awkward.
