Alcatraz Island in San Francisco, California

Alkaryar Island sometimes called Alcatraz or the Rock is a small island located in the middle of San Francisco Bay. The island located at California state in United States. This island used to be a lighthouse fortress of the Army. Alcatraz Island used to be the prison but when prison was shut down due to high operating costs, the island was occupied for almost two years starting in 1969 by a group of Native-American activists. As the historic Alcatraz Island was also the site of a U.S. military prison from the late 1850s to 1933. Until today Alkatras became a tourist attraction.

It is currently one of the famous tourist attractions. Below there is a cinema, bookstore for those interested in studying the history of various stories.
