Akihabara is located in the heart of Tokyo. There is another name that most people call it “Akiba”. If talking about the most famous electrical and electronic products in Tokyo must be this area. Because this area is reputed to be the number one area for selling electrical appliances and electronic products no matter what you are looking for and you will find a lot of famous stores throughout the line. More than 100 electronics stores are lined up in the Chuo-Oi line which is like the main road in this area. There are both small shops selling specialty products to large stores that include a wide variety of electrical appliances. This road is like the main line in Akihabara. There are many types of products whether the latest computers, cameras, TVs, mobile phones, electronic devices, including second-hand goods or spare parts. The most common store brand is Sofmap and Laox, which has many branches. There is also a large camera shop that is popular with the general public. Yodobashi Camera This shop is located on the east side of Akihabara Station.
This area is not only good for electrical and electronic products but also like an Otaku paradise. It can be said that a source of many stores sell anime, manga, video games, card games and rare collection which these Otaku shops will be widely distributed with various electronics stores.
