1. Mt. Takao Cable Car
The cable car runs from Kiyotaki Station to Takaosan Station, climbing 271 meters over a journey of about 6 minutes. The maximum tilt is 31.18 degrees, steeper than any other cable car in Japan.
2. Takao-san Yakuo-in Temple
The temple is about a 20-minute walk from the Takaosan cable car station. Mt. Takao has long been considered a holy mountain in Shugendo, and to this day, mountain worshippers who practice this religion make the pilgrimage throughout the year to immerse themselves in the cascading waters of the waterfall.
