Issaya Siamese Club, Bangkok

Issaya Siamese Club is a century-old Thai villa in central Bangkok whose jewel-colored rooms are decked out with stylishly mismatched antiques. Owned by Thai celebrity chef Pongtawat “Ian” Chalermkittichai whose rags-to-riches tale saw him catapult from street food seller to acclaimed restaurateur. Issaya Siamese Club melds traditional Thai flavors with international culinary techniques. This is reputed restaurant by Iron Chef of Thailand. The decorating in this club is a light colored inside wooden house at night.

Outside, the chef’s garden grows the aromatic herbs that flavor dishes and drinks alike, and a large terrace offers al fresco dining on cooler evenings. Be sure to sample the signature Mussulman lamb shank curry, which sits alongside seasonal specialties and a formidable cocktail list.

Issaya Siamese Club open from 11.30 am – 15.00 pm and 18.00 pm – 23.59 pm everyday.
