The officially recognized flower fields include 6 main locations: Hillegom, Katwijk, Lisse, Noordwijk, Noordwijkerhout and Tai Teylingen. Flevoland is the largest flower ball area in the Netherlands. The Northeast Reclamation of Flevoland has the longest tulip route in the Netherlands, with a length of 100 kilometers. It was rated as one of the “most beautiful routes in the world” by National Geographic. Along the way, more than 1,000 hectares of blooming tulip fields can be seen.
